Ubuntu Allstars Bootlegged!

That's right... I bootlegged the Ubuntu Allstars Jam at UDS Jaunty! I mean, we recorded everything else this time, so why not?

Using Audacity -- an excellent open source sound editor in Ubuntu Universe -- I recorded the gig, carved it up into tracks (with fade ins and fade outs), and then exported to both MP3 and OGG formats.

While we had a hell of a lot of fun jamming, I think we'll be keeping our day jobs hacking on Ubuntu ;-)

  11. Tangled Up in Blue

Rock on,

  1. I see Jorge and Jono in the band. How did you get metalheads like that to do a set of genuinely good music? :-D

  2. Sounds good! Too bad the tracks are so quiet, but I'll just have to ruin them through Audacity or one of my other audio apps to normalize them.

    Thanks for posting them!

Just an FYI, I figured out why I couldn't see the captcha image in Firefox. I was blocking cookies from Blogger, something I do routinely for sites that I don't have an account with. I changed my cookie setting for the server from block to allow for session and I was finally able to post a comment from Firefox, not from Epiphany or Opera.
